Marine fish production in India FY 2023, by state

During financial year 2023, the southern state of Gujarat was the leading marine fish producer, with a production volume of 730 thousand metric tons. This was followed by Gujarat with a production volume of over 700 thousand metric tons. The overall marine fish production in the country was over four million metric tons.
