Development of new technologies using biological systems for processing coal waste into organo-mineral fertilizer to increase soil fertility and crop productivity

In modern conditions, the problem of integrated use of natural resources andenvironmental protection is becoming more and more urgent. The study of this issue covers awide range of scientific disciplines, including agricultural microbiology, agronomy and wastedisposal technologies.One of the urgent tasks is the development of organomineral fertilizers and meliorants,including humic substances obtained from brown coal of Kazakhstan, coal ash and effectivemicroorganisms. Kazakhstan has significant reserves of brown coal, which makes it an importantsource of humic substances that can be used for the production of fertilizers and meliorants. Theuse of these natural resources contributes to a rational and environmentally friendly approach tothe processing of local natural resources. Coal ash, being a by-product of the energy industry,can be effectively used as part of ameliorants, which allows reducing the volume of industrialwaste and minimizing their impact on the environment. The inclusion of humic substances, coalash and biological products in fertilizers and meliorants improves the physico-chemicalproperties of the soil and increases its biological activity, which is especially important forregions with a shortage of organic matter and trace elements. The use of such fertilizers andmeliorants plays a key role in increasing soil fertility, which, in turn, contributes to increasingyields and sustainable agricultural development, as well as ensures food security in Kazakhstan.In addition, the use of organomineral fertilizers helps to reduce dependence on chemicalfertilizers, improving the ecological condition and sustainability of agroecosystems.The program is designed to address strategic objectives outlined in the following keydocuments: the "Strategy Kazakhstan - 2050," the Strategic Development Plan of the Republic ofKazakhstan until 2025, the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 86-VII ZRK "On IndustrialPolicy" dated December 27, 2021, the 2022 Address by President K. Tokayev, "NewKazakhstan: the Path of Renewal and Modernization," and the Presidential Message datedJanuary 10, 2018, "New Development Opportunities in the Context of the Fourth IndustrialRevolution."
