Activity, energy use, and species identity affect eDNA shedding in freshwater fish

Data sets accompanying the titled publication. The file "respirometer_data" contains the oxygen consumption and energy use for all 15min intervals, for which the calculated regression line had a negative slope and an R-square &gt; 0.8. The file "video_data" contains the all individual activity measurements obtained from differences between two consecutive snapshots. The file "all data" contains per water sample the eDNA quantities, fish-parameters, abiotic parameters and the mean energy use and activity calculated for each fish and interval between eDNA samples.
