IMPROVING ROAD TRAffiC SAFETY ON HIGHWAYS USING ARTIfiCIAL INTELLIGENCE: A CASE STUDY OF THE M39 HIGHWAY IN THE JIZZAKH REGION

This thesis studies the issues of improving road safety using artificial intelligence technologies on the example of the M39 highway in Jizzakh region. The study analyzes the causes of road accidents, dangerous sections, driver behavior and traffic flows. The possibilities of preventing accidents, predicting the level of risk and implementing effective control mechanisms using artificial intelligence, in particular video analytics, machine learning and real-time monitoring systems, are substantiated. Practical recommendations are also developed to improve road safety through the introduction of modern technologies.
