These paired RIP experiments were designed to determine specific ncRNAs that associated with either Lsd1 (Lysine specific demethylase 1) complex or Bre1. Overall design: The RIP experiments were done using fly ovarian lysate collected from young females (<12 hr post eclosion). Specifically, Lsd1-RIP and Bre1-RIP were paired with a IgG-RIP ereaction for normalizing the abundance of individual transcripts.
