The combined effect of aquaculture and jellyfish blooms in a Norwegian fjord

This is an experimental study aiming at the determination how organic loading from aquaculture and an additional portion of carbon input i.e., jellyfish detritus may affect benthic bacterial community and biochemical processes in the coastal environment. The sediments cores collected form Hardangerfjorden shallow and deeper spots with lower (NF) and higher fish farm (FF) densities were used in the experiment incubation with low (L) and high (H) organic load.
