资源简介:
This repository includes all data required to reproduce key figures from Roy et al.: Variability-based constraints on regional gaseous elemental mercury fluxes. Hg0 concentration datasets used to constrain our observations can be obtained at the following links, and are required to run the inversion scripts below:
Harvard Forest: Can be downloaded at Obrist et al. (2021).
CHC: Can be downloaded at Magand and Dommergue (2022).
Gunn Point: Daily-averaged data for 2014-2015 are included here. Originally described in Howard et al. (2017)
All other data is included in the zip file titled VariabilityInversion.zip. Subdirectories are organized as follows:
Inversion
code
Python scripts for calculating posteriors for each site (HarvardForest.py, GunnPoint.py, Chacaltaya.py).
Key functions are included in function.py.
Figure plotting scripts included in figures.ipynb and supplemental_figures.ipynb.
Code is also hosted on github.
figures
All figures used included in paper.
posteriors
Posterior distributions discussed in main paper.
Measurement_data
Daily averaged Hg0 concentrations at ATARS are included. Other measurement datasets must be downloaded to this directory from existing repositories listed above.
Model_data
Organized into four subdirectories:
Harvard Forest
Preprocessed concentration signals and surface fields for:
GEOS-Chem (2x2.5)
GEOS-Chem (0.5x0.625)
STILT-MERRA2 (0.5x0.5)
STILT-GFS (0.25x0.25)
STILT-NAM (0.1x0.1)
ATARS
Preprocessed concentration signals and surface fields for 2014 and 2015 for:
GEOS-Chem (2x2.5)
GEOS-Chem (0.5x0.625)
STILT-MERRA2 (0.5x0.5)
GFED4s and FINN1.5
STILT-GDAS (0.5x0.5)
GFED4s and FINN1.5
CHC
Preprocessed concentration signals for approximately 2000 m November 2014-June 2015 for:
GEOS-Chem (2x2.5)
STILT-MERRA2 (0.5x0.5)
GMA/AMAP and EDGARv4.1
STILT-GDAS (0.5x0.5)
GMA/AMAP and EDGARv4.1
Note: For simplicity, we have updated preprocessed GEOS-Chem output required to conduct inversions and generate plots in main text and supplemental. Raw output is available upon request.
Please reach out if you have any questions about the scripts or workflow!
