Transcriptome data of Dangshen different organs

Dangshen (DS) has been used for hundreds of years as a traditional Chinese medicine to cure anemia, exhaustion, a weak spleen and stomach problems. Abundant metabolic components in DS, including flavonoids, have numerous pharmacological effects. Regretfully, the flavonoid accumulation process remains unclear in DS. Here, transcriptome sequencing for DS were carried out. Our findings may contribute to the improvement of the market/industrial utilization value of DS different tissues and provide insight for the investigation of flavonoid biosynthesis regulatory mechanisms in DS.
