资源简介:
Tularemia is a vector-borne disease caused by the Gram-negative bacterium Francisella tularensis (Ft). The increasing prevalence of both the tick vector and F. tularensis infections in humans highlights the need for a better understanding of the life cycle of this pathogen. It is likely that Ft undergoes significant changes during the transition between mammalian hosts and tick vectors, including substantial changes in gene and protein expression profiles. In this study, we investigated the transcriptomic and proteomic differences of five Francisella tularensis subspecies holarctica strains upon infection of rabbit macrophages and tick cells.
