Beach Profile Data Collected From Isla Verde, Puerto Rico

This dataset, prepared by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) St. Petersburg Coastal and Marine Science Center (SPCMSC), provides beach profile data collected at Isla Verde, Puerto Rico. Data were collected from 2022-2024 on foot by a person equipped with a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver and antenna affixed to a backpack outfitted for surveying location and elevation data (XYZ) along pre-determined transects. The horizontal positional data are provided in the Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) projected coordinate system, Zone 20 North (20N), referenced to the North American Datum of 1983 (NAD 83); the elevation data are referenced to the Puerto Rico Vertical Datum of 2002 (PRVD02), GEOID18.
