VPRS 277 Ex Parte Papers

Ex Parte Applications are made either by:* a person who is not a party to the proceeding but has an interest in the matter which entitles that person to make an application;* by one party to a proceeding in the absence of the other.These applications may cover a wide range of matters to do with the hearing of a case, matters relating to disputed costs between a solicitor and a client and enquiries into the conduct of solicitors by the Law Institute and certain applications relating to the examination of witnesses under the Evidence Act and applications to do with the Land Compensation Act, the Transfer of Land Act and the Water Act.This series consists of the papers relating to Ex Parte applications in the Supreme Court of Victoria. Papers may include affidavits and statements of costs.
