RNA-seq analysis of gluconic acid in hypertrophic scar fibroblasts

Hypertrophic scar fibroblasts were subjected to treatment with either gluconic acid or a distilled water control for a duration of 24 hours, conducted in triplicate. Subsequent to the treatment, cells were harvested for the preparation of transcriptome libraries and sequencing, which was performed using the Illumina NovaSeq 6000 platform in paired-end 150 mode by ShanghaiBio Corporation. Differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified with the application of a false discovery rate (FDR) correction. Genes exhibiting a fold change of ≥2 and a P-value of ≤0.05 between the two groups were classified as DEGs.
