Trends, Risk Clusters, and Future Projections of the Global Burden of Tracheal, Bronchus, and Lung Cancer among Women, 1990–2021, with Forecasts to 2036

ScopeThis dataset contains processed analysis-ready tables and supplementary materials to reproduce the figures/tables in the manuscript “Trends, Risk Clusters, and Future Projections of the Global Burden of Tracheal, Bronchus, and Lung Cancer among Women, 1990–2021, with Forecasts to 2036”. The study focuses on tracheal, bronchus, and lung (TBL) cancer in females using GBD 2021 estimates (temporal coverage 1990–2021).

Data source (GBD 2021)Raw estimates were obtained from the GBD Results Tool (GHDx). We do not redistribute raw GBD files. Instead, we provide saved query links/parameters so users can re-download from IHME.

Download GBD 2021 Incidence, Mortality, and DALYs (Metric = Rate; Age = Age-standardized; Sex = Female; all locations; 1990–2021).

Harmonize and merge; standardize column names/encodings.

Compute EAPC and segment-specific APC from Joinpoint results.

Risk-attribution pattern clustering of time series (K=5).

Forecast to 2036 (BAPC with RW2 prior for main projections; auto-ARIMA for sparse strata) with hindcast validation (MAPE/SMAPE).

Export figures/tables.
