资源简介:
Temminck's myotis (Myotis tricolor) is a species of vesper bat that is found in Sub-Saharan Africa. It has only been recorded from the uplands of northwestern Liberia in West Africa and a few places in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda in central Africa. It occurs much more widely in East Africa, ranging from Ethiopia in the north, south through to southern South Africa (from Wikipedia entry). This sample of a male individual found in Guizhou, China was procured by Brennan Peterson-Wood, Chloe Sutcliffe, Claudia Borrell, Dan Whitby, Annika Binet, and Brigitte De Coriolis to generate a high-quality reference genome for Bat1K and the Bat Biology Foundation. Sequencing was conducted at Paratus Sciences and genome assembly was conducted at the Vertebrate Genome Lab (VGL) at the Rockefeller University, led by Erich D. Jarvis, Giulio Formenti, and Jennifer Balacco. Use of this data is limited under a 1-year embargo starting from the date of release on GenBank (https://vertebrategenomesproject.org/data-use-policies).
