The primary objective of transcriptome sequencing is to comprehensively analyze the changes in nutritional quality, particularly in fatty acid composition (especially polyunsaturated fatty acids, PUFA), of periphyton in river ecosystems under warming conditions, and to investigate how these changes impact the next trophic level in the food chain . Using RNA-seq technology, we aim to delve into the gene expression patterns of periphyton under warming conditions, focusing on the differential expression of genes related to key biochemical pathways such as fatty acid metabolism and signal transduction.
