microRNA influences the proliferation of Nosema ceranae in Apis ceranae

In view of the functional characteristics of miRNA and previous research, we aimed to use artificial targeting of miRNAs as a potential method to treat Nosemosis, which would be more targeted and convenient. We engineered a miRNA JL-5 inhibitor for feeding infected honeybees, predicted and analyzed the differentially expressed mRNAs (DEmRNAs) in host targeted by N. ceranae-miRNA JL-5, and assessed its role in host-parasite interactions at both miRNA and mRNA levels.
