ἔχω + part. aor. as a Periphrastic Perfect in Classical Greek

Attempting to analyse the frequency and characteristics of periphrastic perfects of the form ἔχω + part. aor. in Classical Greek, we exported from the GLAUx database all sentences wherein a form of ἔχω has as its dependent a participle in the aorist tense. These sentences were then filtered by hand to remove any not roughly dated between the 5th and 3rd centuries B.C.E. The resulting dataset, comprised of 682 sentences, was annotated on three fronts: (1) the distance between the two tags; (2) whether or not the structure was periphrastic in nature, and if yes; (3) which semantic nuance it most promenently carries (either anterior, resultative or durative). These semantic categories were roughly based on Klaas Bentein's 2013 study of periphrasis in Postclassical Greek. The collumns referencing the three parts of our annotation are respectively: (1) distance, (2) periphrastic_yes/no, and (3) periphrastic_type. Please note that the marking of such structures as periphrastic is largely a matter of opinion, as is identifying them with a specific semantic value.
