Samples from colluvium at site BRU for the Kern Canyon Fault Study in Kern County,
California, were examined to recover charred material suitable for AMS radiocarbon dating.
Charcoal fragments in 14 samples from BRU were identified, and combined with microcharcoal
for AMS radiocarbon dating. A total of 11 AMS radiocarbon dates were obtained.
