Magnitude of the difference in √Aaw at Pi10 between pair of lobes in non-COPD and COPD subjects.

Data are presented as mean differences (95% CI).√Aaw at Pi10, square root of airway wall area of the hypothetical airway with an internal perimeter of 10 mm; RUL, right upper lobe; RML, right middle lobe; RLL, right lower lobe; LUL, left upper lobe; LLL, left lower lobe.The difference in √Aaw at Pi10 between each pair of lobes was examined using a mixed-effects model and adjusted by the Tukey HSD method. The magnitude of the difference in √Aaw at Pi10 between each pair of lobes is greater in COPD than in non-COPD subjects.
