THE EXPLOITS OF UZBEK WOMEN AT THE FRONT AND IN THE REAR DURING THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR

The topic of the Great Patriotic War will always be relevant, because every citizen of Uzbekistan should know the history of his country. Familiarization with the history of their small homeland is an urgent and inexhaustible topic for every person of any age, especially for young people. Unfortunately, the problem of war is still acute for humanity today. The article will be devoted to the feat of Uzbek women at the front and in the rear. Returning to the relevance of the topic, it should be noted that, unfortunately, the contribution of women to the victory over fascist Germany and the labor feat in the rear is the least studied. During the Soviet period, in studies on this topic, multi-volume books, articles, regardless of the aspect under consideration, the authors had to emphasize a special role and praise the contribution to the victory of the Communist Party. This trend was also traced in the historiography of Uzbekistan. It was only in the post-Soviet period that many fundamental works and articles appeared with an objective and critical analysis of the material. The study will be conducted based on the materials of the periodical press of Uzbekistan.
