BLAST search against the T. dubius transcriptome identified 17, 21, and 19 full-length cDNA sequences of T. dubius with high similarity and coverage to PDS cDNA from Vitis vinifera, Helianthus annuus, and Gerbera hybrida, respectively. Sixteen of these sequences were shared among the three species. De novo assembly of these 16 sequences generated a consensus cDNA of TraPDS gene.
