"CILED: Commercial and Industrial Load Event Dataset"

"CILED (Commercial and Industrial Load Event Dataset) is a real-world dataset designed for non-intrusive load monitoring (NILM) and load event detection in commercial and industrial environments. The dataset contains time-aligned bus-side aggregate measurements together with partial circuit-side or device-side recordings, enabling the study of device-level switching event detection from aggregated electrical signals.CILED provides annotated ON\/OFF event timestamps for selected sub-metered devices and supports research on event detection, event localization, load signature analysis, and weakly supervised or supervised NILM tasks. The recorded devices include representative commercial and industrial loads such as variable-frequency air conditioners, ovens, washing machines, and other typical electrical equipment. The dataset preserves the temporal correspondence between bus-side and sub-metered measurements, making it suitable for studying the relationship between aggregate load behavior and individual device operations.As a field-recorded dataset collected from real application scenarios, CILED reflects practical operating conditions and complex background interference that are often absent in laboratory datasets. It is intended to serve as an open benchmark for developing and evaluating load event detection methods in commercial and industrial settings."
