<p><strong>Open the Map Service:</strong> <a target='_blank' href='https://gis.chesapeakebay.net/ags/rest/services/ChesapeakeProgress/cpClimate_High_Temp/MapServer' rel='nofollow ugc noopener noreferrer'>https://gis.chesapeakebay.net/ags/rest/services/ChesapeakeProgress/cpClimate_High_Temp/MapServer</a></p><p>This Chesapeake Bay Program indicator of progress toward the <a target='_blank' href='https://www.chesapeakeprogress.com/climate-change/climate-monitoring-and-assessment' rel='nofollow ugc noopener noreferrer'>Climate Monitoring and Assessment Outcome</a> shows trends in the number of unusually hot days per year at weather stations across the Chesapeake Bay watershed. An unusually hot day is defined as one on which the maximum temperature observed at a particular weather station is among the top five percent of daily highs observed at that weather station across all years of measurement.</p>
