This database provides data on feed intake. Since particle size is a key factor influencing nutrient utilization in laying hens, the database includes information on diet particle size, categorizing fine particles as ≤600 µm and large particles as >600 µm. For each fraction (fine and large), the database provides data on cumulative feed intake throughout the photoperiod, as well as feed consumption at each sampling time. Additionally, it includes feed intake data for each sieve used to characterize the particle size distribution of the diet.
