Material composition of consumer electronics

The dataset represents material composition of 25 commonly used consumer electronic products. The "Disassembly Data workbook" includes detailed, finely resolved data describing product composition of consumer electronics at the level of each major assembly and sub-assembly. Each sheet in this workbook represents a single product category, where most categories contain multiple product samples.The primary disassembly data are always represented as the total amount of each material per major component assembly and per product. The "Product Bill of materials" workbook includes total mass and mass percent of each material for all products studied and an average, maximum, and minimum mass and mass composition for each product category. It also contain literature values where available. The literature values were obtained, evaluated, and reorganized according to three parameters - transparency, level of detail and category consistency. If available, component-level detailed material compositions were included, but published data were more commonly available only in mass percentage composition of each material per product. Like primary disassembly, average maximum and minimum percentage material composition for published sources are provided if available. The qualitative analysis of each data point from published data sources is indicated next to each data point from published source.
