Numbers of immigrants, foreign nationals, population and migration balance in Turkey (1923-2020)

These data were compiled within the scope of the author's doctoral thesis research on ‘Turkish Migration Policy’. The purpose of tabulating these summary migration data is to measure the contribution of external migration flows to Turkey's population growth through the intake of refugees and immigrants, and to examine the role of naturalisation and denaturalisation in the demographic balance.
