Temelin 3 & 4 NPP

As part of the cross-border environmental impact assessment procedure for the extension of the Temelin nuclear power plant, an expert opinion on the EIA scoping document was prepared by the Austrian Energy Agency and the Austrian Ecology Institute on behalf of the BMLFUW. The Federal Environment Agency supervises the procedure in terms of content and organisation. Modeled dispersion calculations show negative effects on Austria in the event of an accident. The comments on possible reactor types and the reasons for the energy and electricity projects are critically assessed in the expert opinion. For the environmental impact statement, a more detailed consideration of the entire project cycle of the plant, the comprehensive presentation of the energy demand and the clarification of alternative variants are recommended.作为捷克林核电站（Temelin Nuclear Power Plant）扩建项目跨境环境影响评估（Environmental Impact Assessment，以下简称EIA）流程的组成部分，奥地利能源署与奥地利生态研究所受BMLFUW委托，编制了针对该EIA范围文件的专家意见。奥地利联邦环境署负责该流程的内容与组织监管工作。模拟扩散计算结果显示，若发生事故，将对奥地利造成负面影响。本专家意见对候选反应堆类型及该能源电力项目的立项依据进行了批判性评估。针对环境影响报告书，建议对该核电站的全项目周期开展更为细致的考量、全面阐述能源需求，并厘清各类备选方案。
