Coastal Boat Access Points - Boat Ramps, Boat Launches, Boat Slipways

This point layer identifies the location of coastal boat ramps, boat launches and boat slipways along the Victorian coastline. \n\nBoat ramps are interpreted as having a sealed surface (usually concrete), where the water can be accessed by a boat trailer. The sealed surface extends into the water (at least at high tide). Boat launches have a natural surface where the water can be accessed by a boat trailer (usually across the beach). Boat launch sites will sometimes have a sealed surface from the road or car park to the top of the beach. Slipways are interpreted as facilities where a boat is transported to the water on rails.
