Insecure parental attachment, bullying perpetration and victimization, and social media addiction: A meta-analytic test of an interpersonal pathway

This repository contains the analysis code for the systematic review and meta-analysis named “Insecure parental attachment, bullying perpetration and victimization, and social media addiction: A meta-analytic test of an interpersonal pathway”. The project synthesizes evidence on the associations among insecure parental attachment, bullying perpetration and victimization, and social media addiction. The analyses include three-level mixed-effects meta-analytic models, moderator analyses, meta-analytic structural equation modeling, subgroup mediation analyses, publication-bias assessments, and sensitivity analyses. The review was preregistered in PROSPERO (CRD420251073088) and conducted following PRISMA guidance. The code is provided to support transparency and reproducibility of the statistical analyses reported in the manuscript.
