In this study, we analyzed the DNA methylation of subcutaneous adipose tissue of three beef cattle species using Guyuan yellow cattle as the treatment group and Chinese Simmental and Wagyu cattle as the control group, and verified the functions of some candidate genes and candidate regions, so as to screen candidate genes affecting fat deposition in Guyuan yellow cattle, and to provide important information for the in-depth analysis of the molecular mechanism of the formation of meat quality traits in Guyuan yellow cattle, and to provide a basis for the analysis of the genetic effects of polygenic polymerization on growth and development and meat quality traits. This will provide important basic information for the in-depth analysis of the molecular mechanism of the formation of meat quality traits in Guyuan cattle, and provide a basis for the analysis of the genetic effect of multi-gene polymerization on growth and development and meat quality traits.
