CO2_variability

This repository contains CO2 data and its stochastic and deterministic components from 50 ICOS sites and the ATTO research site in Brazil. In addition, it contains the codes and information necessary to characterize the stochastic component of CO2 and its effect on the simulation of carbon and water exchanges. These are the data and code to reproduce all results from the publication "Deterministic and stochastic components of atmospheric CO2 inside forest canopies and consequences for predicting carbon and water exchange" in Agricultural and Forest Meteorology (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.agrformet.2023.109624).
