Hydrogeochemistry of the large Yucatan Peninsula karst aquifer system (V2)

The "dataset" file compiles 1,645 groundwater hydrogeochemistry samples from various published and unpublished reports by the Mexican National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) across the extensive Yucatán Peninsula. Additionally, one rainwater and one seawater sample from previous studies were included to calculate the seawater fraction. Along with location, sampling date, and data source, the dataset includes major ion concentrations and hydrogeochemical relationships. The "Hydrogeochemistry by cluster" file shows the statistical summary of major ions, saturation indices, seawater fraction and 100·SO42-/Cl- meq ratio by water quality cluster.
