PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing polyisoprenoid capable of synthesizing 100% cis-type polyisoprenoid in vitro. SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing polyisoprenoid in vitro in which a gene that codes neryl diphosphate synthase is used， and rubber grains to which protein that the gene codes is bound is used， or a method for producing polyisoprenoid in which a vector， to which a gene that codes neryl diphosphate synthase is bound to a promoter having promoter activity which laticifer-specifically expresses a gene， is introduced into a plant， and protein that the gene codes is laticifer-specifically expressed.
