Penrhyn 247 is a groundwater monitoring well operated by QGC Pty Limited (QGC), in Petroleum Lease, (PL) 505. The aim of the well was to assess the potential changes to surface-groundwater connectivity and interactions with the subsurface expression of groundwater, including areas adjacent to the Dawson River. The well was drilled to 25.00m MDGL and targeted the Springbok Sandstone. Three wireline runs, a Packer Test and a Rising Head Test was performed post drilling. The well was developed and completed as a groundwater monitoring bore.
