Feeding roosts, seed dispersal service and frugivourous bats data in a urban area, Brazil

This dataset contains data about feeding roosts and seed dispersal service provided by bats in an urban area of Brasília city, Brazil. Here, data describe fruits consumed by bats in the urban area, the selection and use of feeding roosts, and the patterns of seed dispersal by fruit bats in a Brazilian city. We collected, identified and measured the seeds deposited under feeding roosts. We also captured and identified bats feeding near roosts using mist nets, assessed the vegetation structure and urban variables that might influence the bat's tree choice for roosts (tree height, luminosity, distance from buildings, distance from light source and average distance between trees).
