Phylogenomics revealed species boundaries within the Dendrobium moniliforme complex under incomplete lineage sorting and introgression.

"In this study, we measured and photographed the morphological characteristics of Dendrobium dabienense from the Dabie Mountains. All measurements and imaging were independently conducted by researchers. Whole-genome resequencing was performed on 65 wild-type individuals using 150-bp paired-end sequencing, with alignment to the reference genome of Dendrobium catenatum. Variants were identified through the GATK4.2 pipeline. The final dataset included individual chloroplast and mitochondrial genome variant files (g.vcf format) for each sample. Phylogenetic reconstruction was conducted using 1,272 single-copy nuclear genes from all 65 individuals, with Bayesian inference implemented in IQ-TREE 2.0."
