JYFL-ACCLAB-I329 Collinear laser spectroscopy of neutron deficient rhodium isotopes

In this work, we performed collinear laser spectroscopy on a chain of neutron-deficient rhodium isotopes. Isotopes ground states and their corresponding isomeric states from ⁹⁵Rh, located near the neutron shell closure at N = 50, up to ¹⁰⁴Rh were measured. This study enables the extraction of fundamental nuclear properties for these isotopes and their respective isomers, information that had previously been almost completely absent for this refractory element.The new experimental data provides a benchmark for state-of-the-art nuclear theory models, particularly density functional theory, and contributes to the characterization of the region south-east of ¹⁰⁰Sn.
