Synthesizing and analyzing product sales data from various festival lighting enterprises can enable the entire holiday lighting industry to gain insights into the seasonal demand of regional festive lighting markets, thereby scientifically mobilizing the entire industrial chain and alleviating business shocks induced by cyclical fluctuations. For individual festival lighting enterprises, this dataset can also aid in forecasting future sales performance and developing tailored marketing strategies accordingly. For instance, by analyzing the sales share of a specific category of holiday lighting products across different market regions, enterprises can comprehensively assess the market potential of each target region, thereby facilitating more sound market decision-making.
1. Data Collection: The data is sourced from order records entered by enterprises on the festival lighting platform.
2. Data Processing: Invalid order records and their corresponding fields are cleaned.
3. Algorithmic Processing: Orders are grouped by country and region, and the total order quantity is summarized to derive "regional sales volume". On this basis, further grouping is conducted by product to obtain "product regional sales volume", and the "product regional sales proportion" is calculated as ("product regional sales volume" / "regional sales volume") * 100. Enterprises can identify best-selling and slow-moving products based on this proportion; combined with order dates, they can extract the seasonal characteristics of products, which supports the development of more effective marketing strategies, product design and inventory management.
