Sequence data and phylogenetic analyses for Alternaria arborescens isolates causing leaf blight on Judas tree (Cercis siliquastrum) in Türkiye

DNA sequences and phylogenetic analyses behind the identification of two isolates of the Alternaria arborescens species complex (CsAa01 and CsAa02) recovered from leaf blight lesions on Judas tree (Cercis siliquastrum) in Altınordu, Ordu Province, Türkiye, in October 2025. The two isolates have identical sequences at Alt a 1, gapdh, rpb2, ASA-10 and ASA-19 (GenBank QB239093–QB239102). Dataset 1 is a concatenated Alt a 1 + gapdh + rpb2 alignment of 26 taxa (1,801 bp) and dataset 2 a concatenated rpb2 + ASA-10 + ASA-19 alignment of 48 taxa (1,771 bp); both were analysed by maximum likelihood in IQ-TREE 3 with SH-aLRT and ultrafast bootstrap support, and their trees are Figures S1 and 3 of the related article. The deposit also contains the GenBank submission files and tables that resolve every alignment label to its strain and accessions.
