Data from: Soluble Iron Deposition Shifts External Nitrogen Supply in Oligotrophic Gyres
收藏资源简介:
Decadal external nitrogen supply fields from the study "Soluble Iron Deposition Shifts External Nitrogen Supply in Oligotrophic Gyres" are provided here. The dataset contains gridded (2° latitude × 2.5° longitude) fields for the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s, including: NFIX: Decadal mean nitrogen fixation rates (mmol N m⁻² yr⁻¹) estimated from CESM2-derived soluble iron deposition and GEOS-Chem-derived inorganic nitrogen deposition.NDEP: Decadal mean inorganic nitrogen deposition rates (mmol N m⁻² yr⁻¹) from GEOS-Chem simulations.NVER: Climatological vertical nitrogen supply (mmol N m⁻² yr⁻¹) calculated based on GLODAPv2 nitrate concentration.EP: Decadal mean export production at 100 m depth based on CESM2-POP2 particulate organic carbon flux (g C m⁻² yr⁻¹).NPP: Climatological net primary production (g C m⁻² yr⁻¹) from VGPM and CbPM2 satellite-based products. Decades are represented by the central year of each period (1985, 1995, 2005, 2015). All data fields follow CF-1.9 conventions.
