In this study, to explore the gene regulatory mechanisms underlying tongue development, the anterior portions of tongues from WT mice and Osr2-creKI;Rosa26R-Fgf8 mice at embryonic day 13.5 (E13.5) were carefully dissected. Each anterior tongue was precisely separated into dorsal and ventral parts. Subsequently, bulk RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) was performed on these tissue samples. This comprehensive transcriptomic analysis aims to systematically decipher the differences in gene expression profiles between the two genotypes, and to identify key genes and regulatory pathways associated with tongue development.
