Data for: Double diffusion in the East Sea/Sea of Japan: Spatial distribution, double-diffusive fluxes, and the role of mesoscale eddies

This repository provides processed CTD and shipboard ADCP data from the EA line in the Ulleung Basin, East Sea/Sea of Japan, observed in November 2021 by the Korea Hydrographic and Oceanographic Agency (KHOA). The CTD product contains 10-m vertically averaged temperature and salinity profiles. The ADCP product contains station-based, vertically averaged velocity profiles near the CTD stations. Original high-resolution CTD profiles, raw ensemble-level ADCP data, full ship-track navigation, bottom-track variables, and vessel-operation metadata are not included. These data are provided to support analyses of thermohaline structure, regional circulation, and stratification in the Ulleung Basin.
