Do soil depth and plant community composition interact to modify the resistance and resilience of grassland ecosystem functioning to drought?

Data from a mesocosm study published in Ecology and Evolution 2021.
Treatments: two soil depths (shallow 7cm and deep 21cm), OR two depth heterogeneities (variable and uniform, same volume). Plant communities representative of Intensive or Extensive grassland management.Severe drought or continuous watering. Drought was 3 weeks long to wilt point, then 4 weeks of continuous watering.
Data consists of ecosystem respiration and gross net production taken throughout the drydown and rewetting (flux data.txt file).After harvest plant traits were measured, as well as soil carbon and nitrogen (All data.txt).Plasticity of the traits was calculated using Valladares et al 2006) metric.
