资源简介:
Dataset was initially utilized in Senior et al. 2013 (https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0060088); data from this paper were recategorized through the addition of rarity levels and reanalyzed using continuous phylogenetic distances to address untested hypotheses and provide new results unrelated to Senior et al. 2013. Both datasets provide information regarding the above- and beloground biomass of 25 species of Tasmanian Eucalyptus grown in community mixtures in a common garden varying in phylogenetic relatedness and rarity. The dataset titled “Euc_full” contains the full dataset used in the analyses and the dataset titled “Euc_no_mono” contains the data for all plant-plant interactions with the omission of monocultures. The full dataset is used to test the hypotheses: 1) Above- and belowground plant biomass is related to the phylogenetic relatedness of interacting species; 2) Above- and belowground plant biomass is related to the rarity level of interacting plant species. The no monoculture dataset is used to perform t-tests on the standardized interaction strengths of species biomass in mixtures to test for non-additive responses in plant-plant interactions. In both datasets, a rarity level of 8 is used to represent common species in analyses.
