The PICMUS (Plane-wave Imaging Challenge in Medical UltraSound) dataset is a challenge dataset for medical ultrasound imaging, containing experimental and simulated datasets. The dataset is divided into two tasks: contrast and speckle experiments (contrast_speckle) and resolution and distortion experiments (resolution_distorsion). Each task includes two types of data: IQ and RF data. The dataset has been converted to the zea format for use with the zea toolbox.
