Mississippi River watershed nutrient loading 1967 to 2016

Archived water quality data collected between 1901 and 2019 were used to reconstruct annual averages of various forms of C, N, P and silicate concentrations and alkalinity in the lower Mississippi River. The data in this spreadsheet is by the United States Geological Survey which no longer posts the data on their website. They were used in the data analysis for this paper., This is a data set developed by the United States Geological Survey that no longer posts the data. It includes estimates of the nutrient loads of nitrate, ammonia, ortho-phosphate and silicate delivered by the Mississippi River watershed to the Gulf of Mexico using a Loadset estimation procedure. ,
