资源简介:
High-fat diet induced dyslipidemia is frequently accompanied by intestinal microbiota dysbiosis and intestinal barrier damage. The ILC3-IL22-IL-22R pathway, which responds to dietary and microbial signals, has not only attracted attention for its crucial role in maintaining intestinal barrier, but recent reports have also suggested its potential in regulating lipid metabolism. Limonin, a natural tetracyclic triterpenoid compound widely exists in the Chinese medicine Euodiae fructus and citrus plants, holds great promise to improve serum lipid profiles, but its mechanism remains unclear. We report the relationship between the anti-dyslipidemia impact of limonin and the alteration of intestinal microbiota and intestinal barrier, and explore its potential mechanism based on ILC3-IL-22-IL-22R pathway.
