This dataset covers data on the filing and approval procedures for the termination of business operations by local resident offices of news units. For newspaper publishing entities applying to establish local resident offices, eligible entities are limited to those that publish more than four issues per week, excluding tutoring newspapers, digest newspapers, university campus newspapers, and other similar publishing entities. News websites applying to establish local resident offices shall be limited to central key news websites operated by major central news units. News periodical publishing entities, radio stations, television stations, integrated radio-television stations, and online radio-television stations that apply to establish local resident offices shall be recognized by the competent news and publication department under the State Council.
