Number of imported vehicles sold by AVID Philippines 2019-2021

In 2021, imported vehicles sold by member companies of the Association of Vehicle Importers and Distributors, Inc (Avid) reached roughly 59 thousand vehicles. This was seven thousand units more than the volume of imported vehicles sold in 2020. Despite the increase, this was still lower than the pre-pandemic sales volume as consumers changed their buying habits for cars. AVID is a private, non-profit business organization that includes 21 automotive member firms representing multiple brands in the Philippines. This includes Subaru, Mercedes-Nez, Suzuki, and Volvo, among others.
