UAICON Simulations on "Intrinsic predictability from the Troposphere to the Mesosphere/ lower Thermosphere (MLT)"

This data repository contains data of simulations with the model UA-ICON (Borchert et al, 2019; Kunze et al, 2024) aiming to quantify intrinsic predictability in the different layers of the atmosphere.  The model set-up and experiments are described in Garny, H: Intrinsic predictability from the Troposphere to the Mesosphere/ lower Thermosphere (MLT), submitted to JGR-A. Here, a Readme and the respective sections of the paper are provided for reference. A new version of this data set including the link to the paper will be provided upon publication of the paper.
